To ensure you have the best experience possible, here’s everything you need to know before visiting our floating sauna.
Session Details
Arrival
Plan to arrive 10 minutes early to change into your swimsuit. Grab free street parking (first-come, first-served) or arrive by ride-share for easy drop-off.
Duration
Each sauna session lasts 90 minutes
Private vs. Group
Be sure to confirm your booking type. Private bookings are exclusive, while group sessions may include other guests.
Just Bring Your Swim Suit & Flip Flops
Be aware that swim suits that have metal on them will get hot in the sauna.
Weather Policy
The sauna is open year round, rain or shine, offering a cozy retreat regardless of the weather. However, in the case of severe conditions, we may need to reschedule your session.

Seattle Sauna offers a floating Nordic-style cedar sauna experience, moored at Seattle Marina on Lake Union. Enjoy the warmth of a traditional wood-fired sauna, followed by cold exposure.

Just a swimsuit, we will provide all of the amenities. It is also a great idea to bring some sandals or flip-flops.

Not many people know the full practice of sauna – hot, cold, rest, rehydrate, and repeat – the thermic cycle.
Our guides will teach you how to sauna correctly, soaking up the heat and the cold for the full experience.
